Room Scents

I am a sucker for anything that has to do with room scents. I find it to be a fundamental detail most people forget when designing a space. I am most efficient when I work with the soothing smell of a good candle. These are a few of my favorites: wtaps Agape air refreshener, visvim Blaise Mautin room spray, retaw Clooney candle & supreme incense. Honorable mentions to Baxter’s Black Jasmin candle, and A.P.C.’s Fleur D’Oranger candle.

Shibuya-Ku

This area is possibly the most dangerous neighborhood; financially speaking. Will post up some of my pickups sometime this week.

Winter Rotation

Gore-Tex, Ripstop, ACG, Primaloft, Calf Leather & Wool. Have me ready for the all conditions.

I WISH THEY MADE THIS FOR GIRLS | Kelley

The amount of times I’ve actually heard a girl say “I WISH THEY MADE THIS FOR GIRLS” when looking at boys’ clothes goes beyond memory. From that quote, I’ve begun a little Photo Series project with some of the most gorgeous women in my life. Done right, the series should have that inexplicable umph most guys feel when waking up and seeing a girl in his t-shirt and boxers. Dressed in my clothes, they will, one by one be featured on the blog. Here is the first of many to come.

New York | Part Two

Here are more visuals of my trip. I was stationed at 21mercer on my first night, working on live photo editting during the cocktail party for Fashion’s Night Out. The hotel I stayed at (Tribeca Grand Hotel) was absolutely overwhelming, from the commendable & meticulous service to the generously offered malin+goetz shower kit, everything had me looking forward to a good night’s rest.

Muji is always a must.

This year’s lookbook forced me in there.

What Did You Wear Today

The term WDYWT is no stranger to any forum members’ vocabulary. I joined the SUFU & Hypebeast forums somewhere in 2006. It was a great time for young thinkers like myself and some of my other peers who have now made a name for themselves. In fact, it was a fundamental step into making this blog as successful as it is. People were a lot more open-minded and tolerant toward failure and poor knowledge. It wasn’t always so frenetic as it is today; just isn’t the same nowadays. This post is purely for nostalgic reasons, somewhat of a tribute to those times when one could share his own way of putting pieces together without getting frowned upon. To all the old members from the greater times (you know who you are), I salute you and make sure to check-in, in the comment section!

I’m wearing:
Visvim Vis101 GIZA Jacket
Our Legacy Oxford Shirt
Porter Smoky 2way Briefcase
Supreme 08 Chino Pants
Visvim Suede Virgil-Folk

Photography: Nic Fensom

Having worked with names like Nike & Burton, Nic’s photography work is exactly what I’d like to do if I were to pursue a career in photography. You may also recognize some of his work from Sneeze Magazine…he is the Editor-in-Chief after all. If you check out his website: here, you will notice that his photos scream the letters N.Y. In fact, I get the impression of watching screens of Woody Allen & Scorcese movies with a strong mix of Larry Clark. We met a few months ago for a Supreme gear transaction…a purist when it comes to the blog vs magazine feud, it may be nice to sit down and get an interview from him.

Hebdomadaire

I’m gonna write this post like a series of twits. I just got back from soccer (football), I’m tired, so no structured text for tonight…just some thoughts of the week

Started a new pair of Raw for the next year, they’re Stussy deluxe: made in japan, let’s see how they hold up. So far so good, the denim is pretty rigid, it makes me sleep well at night. I switched my luggage system over to porter: new wallet, new daily shoulder bag. Got some reading material. Love issue 1 of Inventory, i’ll be subscribed. Supreme vol.5 was kind of a fail, JA saved the issue. Only upside is the translated text. Clark (murakami cover) is damn good.
