My recent commissioned work for Nike Sportswear had me taking photos of my city to reflect their latest AW77 Campaign that took place in Tokyo, London & New York. I shot a couple of places, where people would do their running in Montreal, such as the Canal, the Mount-Royal, Old Montreal or simply in the middle of the city. Here are some of the images that were used during the customization event at the OTH gallery.

I’m shooting a Summer Lookbook. I’m keeping the details in the safe, but here is a teaser. Big thanks to the stylist Jay Forest and Max, our model of the day. Inspirations include Hiroki’s Sense photoshoot, Stan Getz, Joao Gilberto & Paul Anthony’s HUgE shoot.

I’ve been testing out some cross color processing. This is Simon and he is wearing the latest Spring collection by 10Deep with a pair of Gourmet Tre C canvas sneakers. Leave me a comment with your email if you need some some tutorial help on achieving this film effect!

Most have seen or heard of the collaborative efforts, but this post isn’t about that, well not really… While the cross-collaboration is something to be excited about, let’s talk about this lookbook photographed and designed by Peter Poopat. What is seemingly made of an old book on cathedrals, the lookbook, consists of photographs from the collection, inserted like a scrapbook; all held together with some tape and a wide tie-ribbon. The pictures: crisp, modern and minimalist, quickly catches the eye when overlapping the aged papyrus. This is organized confusion at its best.

Young Healers is a publishing venture that focuses on emerging photographers through print zines. The objective is to publish monthly issues that coincide with a gallery launch for the corresponding edition. Each issue will feature the work of an up-and-coming photographer, some shooting specifically for the project, others selecting photos from their existing portfolio.

Excuse the lack of updates. I’ve been quite busy. A nice project I’m working on is Bruxe‘s Fall 2010 Lookbook. I photographed and art directed the shoot. The Fall collection is looking great with much more toned down pieces from the Montreal design Duo. Here are some previews…. Big thanks to Jonas, Marcus, Mer, Oli and everyone who was involved.
