ON & BEYOND

We headed to NYC this weekend for a couple of football-filled celebratory days. It started off with an afternoon at the Red Bull Arena on Saturday. We drank and ate in the Red Bull lounge while watching Thierry Henry score a hat trick against our beloved Montreal Impact, all courtesy of our good friend Dan at Red Bull. It was coincidentally Chinatown Soccer Club‘s 10th year anniversary and we were invited to play in a friendly sunday scrimmage with them; here are some shots. I had posted about the Runspecs project when it first came about. We’re now in full stride, 3 times a week totaling nearly 25kms. Big thanks to all the people who show up at every run and also Vitamin Water who sponsor us with their 10Cal beverages after every run.

Justin suggested I frame it, It was a good idea. When I got the call, it was like draft day for rookies. “Welcome to the big leagues son.” *pats shoulder*

Been a huge fan of LunarGlides. The 2′s were undeniably my favorite pair of running shoes I’ve ever owned. When the 3′s first made their appearnce on the internet, it was love at first sight. I picked these up in the womens’ colorway…which beats all the mens’ ones if you ask me. Definitely techspec approved.
