New Balance 205 RCWR
Reaching not so far up in their library of archives, New Balance have reissued a pair of racing shoes straight from the history books. The 205′s were named after Khalid Khannouchi’s record beating time of 2h05 at the Chicago Marathon in 1999. While the history itself makes my knees weak, the technical specifications make it easy to appreciate NB’s pursuit for comfort and performance as they are probably some of the most comfortable soles that have ever separated ground and foot.
Abzorb cushioning in the heel for comfort on the heel-strike and a Acteva midsole which is said to be 12% lighter than a traditional EVA midsole but yet maintains the same durability, make this an everyday shoe that can never be the wrong decision. (except when you’re wearing red pants…that’d look silly)
They will be available Here.
