From that quote, I’ve begun a little Photo Series project with some of the most gorgeous women in my life. Done right, the series should have that inexplicable umph most guys feel when waking up and seeing a girl in his t-shirt and boxers. Dressed in my clothes, they will, one by one be featured on the blog.”

A year and a half ago, I would have laughed if you asked for my thoughts on heather…not the lady name, but the salt and pepper yarn that most of us associate to the sweaty, fat gym teacher in high school (with a whistle around his neck…important detail). Now, I’ve noticed that 95% of all the knits and layering pieces I’ve purchased in the passed year are in heather, all types of them, oatmeal heather, bark heather, cement heather…I can’t really put my hands on why this fascination has taken over my senses, but I can recall a specific season by Nom De Guerre, where they had 2 amazing pieces in heather: a high collar cardigan and a crewneck. I believe that was the turning point where I’ve forgotten about the vile gym teacher & strictly remember that NDG season as being one of their best.

ps: Lawrence. I’m still not sold on sweatpants, but I won’t cease to believe…

At first sight, a cashmere scarf emits a strong essence of elegance, and though the softness of the fine wool may deter its masculinity, it doesn’t, it simply notifies people that you have a good idea of timeless cultism and fashion etiquette. J.Crew happens to make a great cashmere scarf and ol’ st-nick was feeling generous. I can now complete a beige/tonal attire with perfection.

Aside from giving us a hands on experience with some of their upcoming offerings, notably a collab with JCREW, the twin brothers made us feel right at home with a few tips and pointers on how to grow as young entrepreneurs. I’ll end it at that, but stay tuned for what we have in store…soon enough! Big thanks to Byron and Dexter for lending us their time!

In a chitchat with Marcus, he asked me this question: What do you think you will be wearing in a year from now? The question was the beginning to a series of confusing thoughts in my head. I stood there baffled by that seemingly banal inquiry. “I have a feeling you’ll be wearing a suit or something…” he proceeded. Those words which first seemed foolish and humorous soon became not as farfetched as they resonated in my head for a few days. I found in the depths of a forgotten closet of my house, a pair of vintage brown leather oxford shoes (WITH a wooden sole). They were almost too beautiful to be unworn. However, the only manner to be wearing them would be completed with a nice light toned suit. I caught myself in the midst of searching for a suit on Jcrew and actually found 2 to perfectly assemble the outfit I had imagined…Marcus you know something on and beyond my own knowledge hahaha
