ON & BEYOND

One of my favorite pickups from Japan are definitely these cotton duck pants by HPP. While the 14oz of thick linen canvas was very rigid, after about 3 weeks of wear they’ve comfortably molded to my legs.

One of my favorite shops when I was in Tokyo, was hoping I would find some scraps of the Gyakusou collection…but it was long sold out. I did however find some great cottonduck workpants by Head Porter Plus which will later be photographed and showcased on an upcoming edition of I WISH THEY MADE THIS FOR GIRLS.

I’ve owned this case for a  year now. It belongs to the Freestyle  collection. The leather-like effect is obtained by rubbing by hand the polyurethane-coated canvas making it fully weather & tear resistant. So far, after a year of living in my back pocket, the wallet is in MINT condition. Not a scratch or a tear in sight.

Started a new pair of Raw for the next year, they’re Stussy deluxe: made in japan, let’s see how they hold up. So far so good, the denim is pretty rigid, it makes me sleep well at night. I switched my luggage system over to porter: new wallet, new daily shoulder bag. Got some reading material. Love issue 1 of Inventory, i’ll be subscribed. Supreme vol.5 was kind of a fail, JA saved the issue. Only upside is the translated text. Clark (murakami cover) is damn good.

Kinda stole this idea from Johnny. At least I’m admitting to it. Here’s my little shop guide for the snow season. Had to switch up the wardrobe a little this weekend because of the amount of snow and wind outside, so here are, for me, some essentiels pour l’hiver (winter must-have’s, you fucking blokes) Oh and p.s. to all you hypebeasts reading my blog, I know you do, Don’t give me shit about brand synergy…This isn’t an ensemble. I have been shaving my hair since the 7th grade and trust me, it gets cold up there. Cashmere for my head please. Can’t half step on your scarf game, never know when you might need to wrap it around your main squeeze to impress her.

I don’t give a shit, Oxfords are all year-round, I’ll wear that shit to sleep. “Thomas Pink. They make shirts. UK shit. Butter.”-Paul 107. And if you are on a financial slope, then L.L.Bean. Period.

Shawl collars for the win this year. It’s the perfect alternative to the ever so homo turtle necks. W+H and Maiden Noir. Canadian cotton and Japanese cotton only

Take your peacoat, throw it back into your closet and wait til march. Feathers > Wool

five.

You gotta have chinos to go with an oxford, that’s just how it works. It’s like having mashed potato’s with a steak. Beer with pizza. Cheese in a burger. I could go on for ages…

six.

You knew I would suggest a pair of Redwings. I still don’t know if I’m down with the little tongue flap coming on to the toe cap on those Vendor Boots…But that wheat color is just bananas with the royal blue laces.
