Johnny F Kim, also known as JFK, has a new website and he posted something you would usually see in TET‘s blog back in 08. The viet war has a permanent place in JFK’s roots, and this is a piece of him that even Erik Brunetti can recognize.
I know it’s a little late to report about the kaws exhibit in New York at the Gering & Lopez Gallery…as you’ve probably heard the news 12190374 times on every other existant blog out there. Well if you haven’t there you go. But my point here isn’t to overkill the news, it’s more about how I am jealous that blog specialist Marcus Troy got to meet Nigo at the gallery…I don’t know if it was coincidence but fuck I wish I could be in the same peice as Nigo (So i could laugh at how his life is based on an Air Force One with a star on it..and biting Erik Brunetti’s Ape logo.)…kidding, ok, to a certain extent that’s how you can resume it to. However, whether you like it or not, personally Bape isn’t really my thing, Nigo did change the whole game by bringing Japan to Mainstream North America…so big ups to Nigo…I guess
