As Mark explained, Oakley, much like car companies, have a need to push the envelope even though the revenue may not justify the cost of their prototypical projects. One prototype might inspire another. Look at it this way; here I am documenting this revolution in technologies for the e-world to see…so at the end of the day it’s marketing. And the final result…is probably very fructifying.

The main attraction of the night was a C-Six made of pure carbon fibre…a material that is thinner than human hair yet stronger than high tensile steel. Evidently, these aren’t made for the everyday cool guy looking for a pair of frogskins…they retail for an impressive sum of 4500$ CAD.
