ON & BEYOND

Their slogan suggests us to “Qwstion the Norm”, but their bags command us to actually do it. An overwhelming amount of stagnant luggage options on the market forced founder Sebastian to create QWSTION. Seeing my need for a functional travel companion, he sent me this Three-Day Travel Bag to give it my own crash course testing! I honestly can’t be more expressive of my satisfaction in regards to this carry-on; but I can definitely thank Nalden for putting me on to this, and Sebastian for gracefully sending me a couple of their bags to test out.

Field Notes:

-Very Lightweight, yet feels extremely sturdy.

Excuse the lack of updates. I’ve been quite busy. A nice project I’m working on is Bruxe‘s Fall 2010 Lookbook. I photographed and art directed the shoot. I’ve been looking at Men’s accessories alot lately, seems like nothing in clothing gets me too excited anymore, I’m more thrilled at seeing a nicely worn out Makr Wallet or Corter bracelet than a a chambray button down. Anyway, I came across Made By Eugene and was pretty impressed with the stuff he does. All hand crafted, his creations are teasing a simplistic guy like me to sport on a chain and rings.

Best known for their technical practicality, Japan’s Yoshida & Co have come out with a new wallet part of the Porter Deluxe line. The wallets feature two openings at opposing ends giving an 80′s like appeal to the simplistic functionality that defines Porter’s renowned aesthetic.
