John Rich & Bros Chinos

Super lightweight worn-in chinos by Woolrich, with a small coin pocket, a few rolls in the bottom, a pair of new b’s and I’m ready to go. Definitely my best pick up in geared with the imminent arrival of spring..

“The collection revolves around garments that in their simplicity, have the entire American outerwear history in their structural details. It is from the Woolrich Mills that this product takes form from the same looms that produce the most authentic American outerwear fabrics.”

Visvim Gabo Elk

It took me a little longer to achieve a moment of clarity in terms of how much I actually wanted these. I had always been attracted by that heel flap…but always grunted at the the tails. But the notion of them being inspired by Canadian native heritage soothed my unwillingness; so, I gave in. The elk leather is beyond what I imagined, incomparable to the elk on earlier models like the logan lo’s. softer, alot softer.

Currently killing it on the 1′s&2′s as I am writing this…Presently playing: It ain’t hard to tell – nas.

It’s funny, this post feels like a tweet, how often can you blog something in the same moment it’s happening, AND have good pictures for it.

Purple Drank & Griot.

I was feeling the hood pumpin in me today, so I went to eat Haitian griot, but to truly fulfill my experience of eating like a black person, I had to complement my rice & beans and pork, with the one and only Purple Drank.

P.S.: Ben Trep, everyone tells me your the food specialist around, so if you’re reading this, I dare you to go. It’s called Meli-Melo on Jarry street. You gotta go to the back of the grocery store to find the hidden counter…(everyone = maura)
