I’ve been hard at work, building a little running program in Montreal for out of shape nerds like myself who are as much into the gear than the sport of running itself… We run twice a week, as a collective. Check out the project and let me know your thoughts…
Picked up this Veilance sample jacket from the reborn warehouse sale… I don’t recall seeing this bomber silhouette in any of the passed collections, (correct me if I’m wrong), maybe it is to be released later this year (Correction: Mr. Mann confirmed its from fw10). The 3XDRY Schoeller softshell is gonna keep me dry and warm on cold summer nights. I saw many other light jackets at the warehouse that should be releasing in the upcoming season, it’s looking good for the Canadian tech specialists.
The Special Force Boot (SFB) Chukka from NSW takes some inspiration from the US Army Jungle boots of the 1970′s. While the nylon and suede exterior resemble the influencors, Nike have replaced the RO-SEARCH sole from the 70′s with their own NIKE FREE soles giving it that sportswear factor. I wanna thank Claire from NSW for getting these out to me as they will come quite useful when braving the harsh canadian weather.

US ARMY JUNGLE BOOTS – 1970s

Done right, the series should have that inexplicable umph most guys feel when waking up and seeing a girl in his t-shirt and boxers. Dressed in my clothes, they will, one by one be featured on the blog.”

Avid readers of this website will notice my unhealthy obsession with shit that’s waterproof, weatherproof, tear-proof, shatterproof or anything else that is immoderately technical… the ACG line has much improved in the last year, from the introduction of the Lunar Wood with Danish brand Wood Wood, ACG is proving to be on the same page as NSW and Pinnacle. Outdoor football season has started. Thank god. Which is why these 3 pairs of runners have seen more action that usual, been working on getting the cardio up again.
