The uglier they get the more i’ll love them. I’ve had these for three years now. wore them non stop for 2 full summers and half. They’ve reached the stage where the wear and tear looks perfect….not too much to the point of falling apart. Maura is working on a little project with these shoes, I’ll show pictures of her final results when she’s done. It’s pretty rad.
Earlier this summer, I drove Ricky’s car for a beer run during one of our regular weekly sessions at the Beaver Bowl. As he gave me his keys, he thoughtfully decided to warn me by saying… “oh yeah, I don’t really have brakes on my car.” At that point, I figured how bad could it be right? He did make it here with that vehicle after all and honestly there was nothing I could use more than an ice cold brew. So after getting in and starting the engine, I gave’r to the first stop sign and ended up running right through it while I pressed as hard as I could on the brakes. The car eventually stopped, but as you could imagine, I was scared shitless. Relating that back to Ricky, the dude is basically insane. He is a total loose ball and If you ever get a chance to see him skate you’re gonna get super pumped. On this day, he found a skill saw in that car of his and decided to go at his board with it. Here he is with a huge frontside air on the vert wall at legacy skatepark.

Hello everyone, this is szeto from ottawa. earlier this week, vince invited me to start posting on o&b. As I’ve been a big fan of this blog for a solid minute now, and have been trying to shoot photos and videos like a mad man of late, it made sense to team up with one of my long time friends.
I’m currently in the midst of filming a video part for some of my sponsors and when i get a chance to catch my breath for a minute, there’s nothing I love to do more than to capture some of the random situations I get myself into. Just this weekend, I was in montreal and got a chance to skate and film with my homies mitch barette, mike fyfe and jay hyland. Here are some of the random hijinx we got ourselves into.
