ON & BEYOND

We headed to NYC this weekend for a couple of football-filled celebratory days. It started off with an afternoon at the Red Bull Arena on Saturday. We drank and ate in the Red Bull lounge while watching Thierry Henry score a hat trick against our beloved Montreal Impact, all courtesy of our good friend Dan at Red Bull. It was coincidentally Chinatown Soccer Club‘s 10th year anniversary and we were invited to play in a friendly sunday scrimmage with them; here are some shots. Project Wooster has been the talk of the town here at Project. And it isn’t unwarranted. Japan being the central (but not exclusive) source of inspiration, Nick Wooster curated an exhibit that showcases a perfect melange of Japanese influenced style. The exhibition area houses handpicked items from such brands as Nexus VII, Visvim, Arc’teryx Veilance, Monitaly, RTH, Nepenthes, United Arrows and many more.

My favorite pickup from my recent NY trip has to be these Unis cargos. Available in 2 other colors, designer Eunice Lee really nailed it with these fatigues; color, fit and large side-pockets are the main criteria I look for in a pair of cargos.
