Dylan passed by wearing a pair of MINT condition Spring/Summer 2008 elk leather FBT Classics, had to snap a photo. That was just about the year I fell in love with Vis, and around the same time I picked up my first pair of Jokhang FBTs. Never looked back.

Yikes. This couldn’t be farther than the truth. Good design endures. Get familiar with your design history.
@Dennis, I think you misinterpreted my question. I am well aware that design is here to stay, in fact I am obtaining my college degree as a Major in Design… I was simply noting the fact that in the industry that Dylan works in, people are shying away from Graphic T-shirts and picking up their oxford shirts. And I meant it in no detriment to Design itself.
