White Shirts
by Vincent
I’ve been seeing a lot of Herringbone weave patterns in the last couple of seasons. It’s one of those things, that make a garment noteworthy, kind of like…”premium” leather on Nike’s or Elk leather on youknowwhat‘s.
This here, is a workshirt from Engineered Garments’ Spring2010 Collection. I’ve beenĀ eager to get on my spring/summer rotation, so a white button-down and high-water chinos have been on the immediate list. Now you’re saying, “a white shirt for the summer…a linen shirt?”. I don’t like linen because it reminds me of a corny Caribbean resort…and Jay-Z’s Hustlin’ Remix (love that track). So this 100% cotton workshirt is a good lightweight solution!

I like the look of this shirt but I wish it wasn’t see through. The fabric is a bit light for the style of shirt I think.
@Ryan : have you seen it in person? it’s not THAT bad!
I love the pocket detail on it!
looking nice…(and i do like the remix)
Hey,
Ya – I bought it, but found I could see the top of my pants through the shirt, so basically you just need to wear a white tee underneath. It’s really nice, just not quite perfect…. for me.
Where might i pick one of these up?
