CUT&SEW : Blueprints_01

It took a while for me to realize I had something special in my house…It comes to no surprise that, being asian, my mother is a seamstress, an amazing one with two industrial sewing machines (a lockstitch & an overlock). She basically makes all my pants fit like a pair of Petit Standards and all my larges fit like a Medium. She used to work for David Bitton as a sample maker, so we have a room full of patterns. I think it’s time for me to take a few lessons so I drew out a little something something that I want to make; it involves Brown&Olive, twill, waxed cotton, corduroy, and a tiny bit of leather. For now, you can peek the blueprints, next update will reveal the materials. Stay tuned…
ps: My little “sample man” is wearing a pair of woolrich field pants hahaha.

sup vin, I’ve been checking out your blog for about a week now and figured I should come out the woodworks and say what’s up. I remember your posts from hypebeast. I don’t really post much on forums anymore just drifting mostly through blogs and what not. i am jealous, you have a goldmine in your house while the rest of us have to pay someone to teach us/do it for us. that looks like a rather ambitious project you got there, but the result will probably be rather amazing. looking forward to you next update on this project.
