Never neglect the strength of the internet and a simple discussion board. Its fascinating how a forum can create a close circle of great young minds from different parts of the world. Over the last 4 years I’ve gotten to meet and know some of the dopest individuals through this medium. Josh and Trav have gone a long way in a short time; featured by Tone as his latest interview/project, Street Etiquette is undoubtedly on top of my favorites and just a bookmark away from yours. INTERVIEW

Iron Age show last night at some sketchy spot in Griffintown (friendship cove) with Maura the hardcore kid. It smelled like shit. But it was pretty awesome for photos I must say. Oh and I’m obsessed with the American flag, don’t ask.

In a search for the perfect field jacket for Fall. It comes as no surprise I turned to Jesse (Penfield) to fill the void. He was kind enough to let me run through his Spring/Summer samples to discover the Lockwood jacket part of the Trailwear Label. Created in the 70′s, TRAILWEAR is a range that symbolises the heritage and quality of those early years, and the spirit of what Penfield still stands for, which obviously played an imposing influence on my final decision. And to top off the already convincing feats, it is made of Hudson wax cloth, allowing it to be waterproof, breathable, windproof and fast wicking (gets rid of moisture quicker). Big thanks to Jesse for the hookup and make sure you look out for the Spring line when it drops.

Picked up a new front wheel today at Sylvestre’s, H&son on an All city hub. let’s see how this thing rides. I’ve heard scary stories of this rim. Sylvestre reassured me, apparently they’re less flimsey than the first ones. I heard they’re fast. Next step: threading the fork.

Since i’m the “Can you find me ___” guy. I was looking for Bad Brains supreme gear for Maura. In the middle of my search i ended up finding this on sale at 45$ so i clicked medium, proceed, payment option: Paypal, and spent money I don’t have. Curse you paypal…
