ON & BEYOND

I was in Vancity with Harry last week for Know?Show. I hadn’t been to Vancouver since the age of 8 or 9, so everything was sort of new to me. Besides, last time I was there, was a family trip, and I recall spending most of my time in Chinatown and Richmond or Chinatown 2 if you prefer.

As the plane took it’s final descent, nothing but high summits and water surround us. The view was staggering.

The Know?Show itself was held in a venue called the Vancouver Convention center, located right next to the Sailboat inspired Canada place center. Equipped with a green roof, the convention center had one of the dopest ceilings i’ve seen, completely covered in 2 by 4 – like beams.

Fuck it, I’m making a blog category just for ceilings.

ps, can someone pick me up a pack of the hanes supreme tees…medium.

Ive been in Vancity for the passed 4 days. No time to blog, but the pictures of the trip will be up sooner or later. Here’s a great Nike football campaign.

It’s funny, this post feels like a tweet, how often can you blog something in the same moment it’s happening, AND have good pictures for it.

I was feeling the hood pumpin in me today, so I went to eat Haitian griot, but to truly fulfill my experience of eating like a black person, I had to complement my rice & beans and pork, with the one and only Purple Drank.

P.S.: Ben Trep, everyone tells me your the food specialist around, so if you’re reading this, I dare you to go. It’s called Meli-Melo on Jarry street. You gotta go to the back of the grocery store to find the hidden counter…(everyone = maura)

My homie from Vegas just started a new blog called The Breakfast of Champions dedicated to critiquing, with a humorous turn, of daily banal life. Knowing Neek, this will be something of great interest…Look forward to seeing what this website will bring to the blogosphere. But from what I see and read so far, seems to me like a breathe of fresh air from all the coolguy blogs (i’ll include mine as one of those annoying coolguy blogs if I may)
